A producer who works like a craftsman.
A musician with a passion for sound. I have always been drawn to technology as a way to enrich the music, but I approach the creative process like a craftsman: with my hands and my instruments.
I completed the postgraduate course in Music Production Technology and Technique, directed by Ferran Conangla and Enric Gines, at UPF/ESMUC. At my studio in Gràcia I mix, compose and arrange music for other musicians, publishers and audiovisual production companies. And if you want to learn, I also teach guitar lessons in Barcelona.
The studio
An acoustically treated room with near-field monitors, analogue preamps and a selection of microphones for vocals, guitars and percussion. I also have a collection of guitar pedals and a Vermona DRM1 MKIV analogue drum machine.
Music production in Barcelona, in person and online
I take every project from start to finish, from the first idea to the final mix.
Pre-production
I work side by side with artists to develop each idea, define the sound they are looking for and shape the songs. We make detailed demos that act as a guide to test arrangements and make decisions before recording: resources are used well and you arrive at the studio with a clear vision.
Recording instruments and vocals in Barcelona
Overdubbed or live recording, depending on what each project needs, capturing every instrument and voice at the highest quality while keeping the essence of the performance.
Music arranging
I record real instruments such as guitars and vocals and complement them with virtual instruments. Whether it's a rock band or a singer-songwriter, I look for the combination of instruments that gives each song depth and personality.
Mixing
A mixing studio in Barcelona: a balanced, professional sound, ready for streaming platforms. Every technical decision is made to bring out the music without losing its essence. Mixing can also be done remotely: you send me the tracks and I send you back the final mix.
Composition for artists and media
As a composer in Barcelona I write for other musicians, publishers and audiovisual production companies: from helping you finish a song to original music for film and media projects.
My music in film, series, TV and advertising
Songs I have written have been used in more than 30 productions from Spain, France, the UK, Portugal, Belgium and other countries.
Netflix / Amazon Prime Video / Movistar+ / BBC / France 2 / TV3 / La 1 / Channel 4 / Atresplayer / Filmin

Where is the studio?
At Carrer de l'Escorial, 1, in the Gràcia neighbourhood (08024 Barcelona). You can come to record, listen to mixes or work on arrangements together.
Can I hire you for music production online?
Yes. Mixing, arranging and part of the production can be done remotely: you send me the tracks or the demo and I send you versions until we reach the final result.
Which styles do you produce?
I have worked in jazz, cumbia and Afro-Colombian music, Brazilian music, string quartets, singer-songwriter, rock and music for media. I adapt to the style of each project.
Do I have to book the whole process?
Yes. I work on complete projects, from pre-production to mixing, because that way I can look after the sound and keep it coherent from start to finish: arranging and recording decisions already have the final mix in mind, and the result is much stronger than putting together separate stages done by different people.
Tell me about your project
Send me a demo, a reference or just the idea. I'll reply with a proposal for your music production in Barcelona, at the studio or online.
